Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

English Vision (englishvision.tech) is operated by Wisdom Republic (trading as English Vision), Australia. Payments made in India (₹, including UPI) are collected by Sneha Sharma on behalf of English Vision. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

2. What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number, the course you are preparing for, your target score and exam date, and an agent or referral code.

Practice data: the questions you attempt, your answers, scores, mock test results and study history.

Speaking recordings: audio you record for speaking tasks. It is sent to our speech-scoring provider to score your answer and is not saved by us afterwards.

Payment details: the package bought, amount, currency and payment status. Card, UPI and wallet details are entered on the payment provider's page — we never see or store card numbers or UPI PINs.

Technical data: your approximate country (from your IP address, used to show your regional price), browser and device type, and the device you are signed in on (an account may be used on one device at a time).

3. How we use it

To run your account and give you access to the packages you buy; to score your practice with AI and show your progress; to process payments and send receipts and account emails; to show prices in your regional currency; to prevent account sharing and abuse; and to improve the platform.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Services we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the platform, and share only what each needs: cloud hosting and AI writing scoring (Alibaba Cloud), our database and sign-in (Supabase), speech scoring (Microsoft Azure Speech), email delivery (Resend), and payment processing (Stripe for cards; Razorpay for UPI in India; WeChat Pay and Alipay in China).

Our website uses the Meta Pixel to measure our advertising (for example, whether a visit from an ad led to a sign-up or purchase). You can limit this in your Facebook ad settings or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.

These providers may process data outside your country, including in Hong Kong, Australia, the United States and India. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language, and browser storage for conveniences such as your last-opened tab. Advertising measurement uses the Meta Pixel described above.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and practice data while your account is open. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require. Speaking recordings are not kept after scoring. When your account is deleted at your request, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except records we must keep by law.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing info@englishvision.com.au. We reply within 30 days.

Users in India have the rights given by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and users in Australia those under the Privacy Act 1988. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may contact the relevant data protection authority.

8. Grievance contact

For any privacy question or complaint, including grievances from users in India, email info@englishvision.com.au.

9. Children

English Vision is meant for adults preparing for English tests. If you are under 18, use it with the consent of a parent or guardian.

10. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), access is limited to staff who need it, and payment-provider keys are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
