How the CCL test works
Two dialogues. You are the interpreter.
Listen to a segment
Each dialogue alternates between an English speaker and a speaker of your language, in segments of up to 35 words — doctor visits, bank appointments, school interviews.
Interpret at the chime
After each segment you interpret it into the other language, starting within a few seconds. There are no second chances — just like the real test.
Scored by deduction
Examiners start from full marks and deduct for omissions, additions and distortions. Our AI scores the exact same way — and shows you every deduction.
